 London Broncos Rugby League club is to change its name to Harlequins Rugby League club as it joins forces with the NEC Harlequins and Twickenham Stoop Stadium, formerly The Stoop Memorial Ground, becomes the home ground of a league club.
 
 
 The old order has changed all right, for once upon not long ago the Harlequins were great proponents of the \"amateur principle\".
 
 The Broncos will change their strip to the four quarters of the Harlequins with the jester as their badge. The change of name and strop will take place at the end of the current rugby league season.
 
 The two clubs will share marketing strategies with the expectation that the two clubs will become one.
 
 The initial agreement is four five years.
 
 Nic Cartwright, London Broncos CEO, said: “The key, long-term priority for London Broncos has always been to find a place called ‘home’.
 
 \"The very future of the club, and the professional game in London, depended on this. And now we have. In short, this partnership provides our club and rugby league in London with a stable and progressive environment for success and growth.”
 
 Mark Evans, NEC Harlequins CEO, said: “Everyone at NEC Harlequins is very excited by this partnership and determined that this venture will be a successful one.
 
 \"Although we\'re steeped in tradition, Quins is also a club with some very progressive and dynamic ideas. This partnership is another proactive step in the evolution of the Harlequin brand and club.
 
 “Each club’s owners, Board of Directors and staff have one common goal - to make Harlequins the number one rugby club in the country. Both clubs believe that through this partnership, this goal is achievable.”
 
 The Harlequins club was founded in 1866, the London Broncos in 1980 from Fulham Football Club.
 
 The Broncos are currently in mid-table in the Super League. Harlequins were relegated from England\'s premiership at the end of last season.

 Forse orme parlava del fatto che decisioni dificile , per affrontare la REALTA non si fa con molto frecuencia en italia.
 ovviamnete sappiamo che il Rugby League e piu o meno , non esistente en italia..
 
 pero se un club Tradiozionalmente MOLTO , MA MOLTO snob , ha potuto fare un fusione con un club di rugby league(????impnesabile qualche anni fa..Leeds era meno transcedentale, come sono meno SNOB nel nord)...Come Mai quoi , clubs come i 2 Parma non possono fusionarsi...o come mai sembrea impossibile di formare gli squadre regionale per il Celtic League...
 
 Poi , per Harlequins , e ottimo perche anche forse possono scoporire certi giocaotri dei talento che vorrebbe giocare RugbyXV

 Centro!!! non esiste la RL ma esistono tante situazioni che richiedono decisioni analoghe. non solo in categorie inferiori ma soprattutto in TOP 10 dove non si è ancora capita la differenza fra professionismo e dilettantismo
 vantaggi o svantaggi nell\'avere 2 squadre di alto livello nella stessa città
