ABs to visit AC Milan

The All Blacks will visit iconic football club AC Milan and rub shoulders with football's glamour boys Kaka and Ronaldinho.

Several of the squad will head to the northern Italian fashion capital after the team's last game on their grand slam tour of Europe, against England on November 29, as part of a promotional campaign with sponsors adidas.

French football legend Zinedine Zidane visited the All Blacks during last year's Rugby World Cup but team manager Darren Shand is hoping this latest dalliance with football stardom will be more than a PR stunt.

"We have actually managed to establish the beginnings of a relationship with AC Milan who have a top medical programme," he said. "One of my staff [physio Pete Gallagher] went up there about a year ago to have a look and shared some information with them.

"Hopefully we can continue with that, and the team gets a chance to have a look around their facilities."

It's not known if Dan Carter will be one of those heading to the fashion capital but it's thought unlikely as he starts his playing stint with Perpignan in early December.

England football celebrity David Beckham, who is due in Auckland on a promotional tour with the LA Galaxy in December, is in the throes of shifting to AC Milan on a short term transfer deal. But it doesn't start until January - if it comes off at all - so the All Blacks will miss rubbing shoulders with him.

However, there will be no shortage of stars in what will probably be the photo opportunity of the tour.

Semplicemente è una stupidaggine.

Non è una stupidaggine. E' una operazione di marketing, e seria per giunta.

E visto che sempre più il rugby ha bisogno di soldi per progredire - che ti piaccia o no - può servire alla causa.

E in più, pubblicizza il rugby in un ambiente che il nostro sport non lo conosce per niente.

Premesso che non ci vedo nulla di male se l'adidas ha chiesto a milan ed ABs di condurre una marketing operation together.

Nike lo fa con Henry, Tiger Wood and Federer,i quali sono anche joint sponsor per Gilette qui in NZL in Wellington la stessa FIFA (stiamo ospitando la FIFA U17 Women's World Cup) ha fatto un po' di esercitazioni publicitarie con la NZRFU.

insomma se alla fine entrambi le parti ne guagagnano.........................e si sa che in Europa non c'e' sport che attira piu' media coverage del calcio. qundi ben venga!!!

Partita folcloristicamente pompata dalla seguente azione di marketing: drag race di trattori IVECO nelle campagne del Canterbury seguita da sagra paesana e competizione dello "spelacchiamento veloce della pecora Carolina".

I contendenti sono:
- Riccardo McMucca vs Bergamauro (la classe non e' lana);
- Ali vs Dellape' (svettiamo insieme);
- Kahui vs Bergamirko (a sta botta so contenta pure de fare la ....... ehhehhe);
