Nella squadra della settimana di Planet Rugby ben 4 Italiani inseriti (più una citazione per Bergamirco):
il duo-meta Canale-Canavosio, Bergamauro e Leo capitan Ghiraldini (o Gherardini alla Munari).
Cosa vuol dire vincere! Forse 15 giorni fa avevamo giocato meglio con gli inglesi e fu scelto solo Masi... ma va bene così.
Six Nations: PR's XV of Round Two:
15 Geordan Murphy (Ireland) - A toss-up between Geordan Murphy and Clément Poitrenaud really. France's full-back impressed once again but this Ireland veteran, who only came back from injury not so long ago, proved a solid presence at Twickenham as Declan Kidney's side got straight back on the horse.
14 Tommy Bowe (Ireland) - You can never keep a good finisher down. Tommy Bowe claimed his first tries of the Championship on Saturday after a slight lean spell in first Dublin and then Paris. He was on the mark against England though as only Leigh Halfpenny came even slightly close to taking this slot.
13 Gonzalo Canale (Italy) - Right from the off, England were true to their word of trying to be more expansive than their Rome showing and one man giving his all was Mathew Tait. However, at the earlier contest in Rome there was a vital break from Gonzalo Canale that proved so much more significant.
12 Yannick Jauzion (France) - For the third consecutive round, Toulouse centre Yannick Jauzion will line up at number twelve following another faultless yet not that glamorous 80 minutes in the blue jersey. France are looking so assured and comfortable with their settled 9, 10, 12, 13 combination flourishing.
11 Alexis Palisson (France) - Probably the biggest head-scratcher for our team of hacks to mull over. We had , Shane Williams' record score, Mirco Bergamasco's solidity and the general performance of Alexis Palisson. Third place the Italian, second to the Welshman and you obviously now know the rest.
10 Francios Trinh-Duc (France) - Another two-horse race for the number ten slot I'm afraid. The contenders were Dan Parks and Francois Trinh-Duc, with the French pivot continuing his fine form in the 2010 Six Nations. He is fast becoming a key figurehead.
9 Pablo Canavosio (Italy) - Despite being on the losing side and feeling distraught after defeat, Danny Care was a constant livewire. Elsewhere, Morgan Parra and Richie Rees did pretty well but Italy's try-scoring replacement Pablo Canavosio has snuck in at the base.
8 Jamie Heaslip (Ireland) - Two players were shortlisted for the eight jumper but it was not long before Ireland's powerful back-rower got the nod. Jamie Heaslip once again carried well and edged his personal battle with Nick Easter with a little to spare.
7 Mauro Bergamasco (Italy) - This flank is such a great servant for Italy. Always ready to give his all and it seems that the loss of Sergio Parisse has even seen him raise his performances to a new level. Mauro Bergamasco beats France captain Thierry Dusautoir for the openside role, just about.
6 Stephen Ferris (Ireland) - Declan Kidney would probably give Stephen Ferris right up until kick-off if the Ulster flank was nursing an injury, such is his value to how Ireland function. An incredible ball carrier, tackler and mobile member of their back-row trio, Ferris sees off Julien Bonnaire at number six.
5 Lionel Nallet (France) - Nothing more could really be asked of France's former captain thus far, as he was once again right on the money for Marc Lièvremont. Playing in front of most probably the best back-row in the Six Nations, he continues to shine alongside whoever is thrown in alongside him at lock.
4 Bradley Davies (Wales) - It was an emotional night for this Welsh lock following the passing of his mother last week. But he stood up and showed great courage to put in his best international performance to date.
3 Dan Cole (England) - Now this was a tough one. On the one hand, Dan Cole scored and got the beating of Cian Healy while Nicolas Mas was a constant thorn in the side of Wales. But the Leicester tighthead gets the nod after being arguably England's best performer.
2 Leonardo Ghiraldini (Italy) - England's lineout was a mess, Rory Best did his job, Huw Bennett was below-par, Ross Ford not too bad. Therefore, Italian hooker Leonardo Ghiraldini wins by default. Maybe that's a touch harsh, the captain was a dog in the tight and led very well to deserve this jersey.
1 Thomas Domingo (France) - Our final Round Three dilemma saw Thomas Domingo and Salvatore Perugini face-off. It was a tough one in the end but the young French loosehead had the measure of the 100-capped John Hayes to complete PR's XV.

Re: Team of the week di PR: 4 Italiani!
