What has the impact of Sky Italia had on Rugby in Italy?

Does Sky Italia do a good job?
 
 Is there a weekly Rugby Programme on Sky?
 
 How Many Super 10 games do they do?
 
 Who are the commentators ( Italian) and do they do a good job?
 
 What improvements would you like in the coverage?
 
 How much of the money does the clubs see from the SI deal?
 
 How much does Sky Italia play to the FIR?
 
 Do a lot of Non Rugby people watch the game on SI??

Hey, how many questions! Are you a Fox TV white collar?

Anyway, I have not actual data, just my own opinion: Sky Italia does a very good job, broadcasting at least one match per week of several important rugby tournaments, national and international. There are three couples of commentators, all good. SI broadcasts "Total Rugby" and some international tests, along with La7, owner of the "6 Nations", but, sincerely, I am not so sure that other people except rugby fans watch the games on TV, just because most of them does not know the rules nor the background of our sport. I am afraid that today, Italian TVs must be pleased of having just one or two casual viewer each time.

I too think that SKY guys are doing a good work ...but there are no data about it; instead the Italy-Fiji game in Monza , broadcasted in direct by "La7" , passed 8% of share, that roughly mean that that saturday afternoon the network TRIPLED its usual share ...

They show 1-2 games per week. They don't pay anithing to the FIR (federation), they pay to the LIRE (the League), about 450.00 € per one year.

 not so difficult...
 I don't know if the websites are translated in english...
 
 La 7 is a free to air private channel (the only national one not owned by Berlusconi).
 
 There is also SportItalia (SI) which broadcasts "Total Rugby" and has the rights for some important TM's (like the french, during last November). Also SportItalia is a free to air and it's part of Eurosport network.
