Two years ago the corresponding fixture was watched by just over 70,000 spectators but the last of the 74,000 tickets was snapped up today (Tuesday, 28 February) to guarantee a capacity crowd a week Saturday.
<BR>The final 6 Nations match, against France on 18 March, is already a sell-out meaning over 222,000 fans will have watched 6 Nations matches at the Millennium Stadium this season – an impressive 100% occupancy for Wales’ home Championship matches.
