Tuilagi e' spaventoso l'ho visto nella partita contri gli Sharks la settimana scorsa 1 meta realizzata la 2da praticamente sua...e chi lo ferma quel bestione, e' 2 volte chabal...
In inghilterra non ci credeva nessuno che i saints (zona bassissima del campionato) potessero farcela in francia...dopo (!) la partita l'allenatore ha detto che dava ai suoi 1 possibilita' su 1000 di farcela...solito ottimismo inglese ...con i wasps non ci sara' storia secondo me, dallaglio parla gia' di finale...mah si vedra'

tra l'altro il Bristol non ha rinnovato il contratto a Stanojevic per il prossimo anno, vediamo come e dove si accasa il buon Marko

Chissa perche'? poraccio e' stato infortunato con lui il Bristol era 1mo in campionato, Marko era sempre tra i migliori. Sbaglio o e' da una vita che gioca per il Bristol? Sarebbe fantastico vederlo con Carlos/il capitano a Gloucester

bè in realtà anche prima dell'infortunio Marko quest'anno ha fatto veramente apparizioni sporadiche in prima squadra, giusto qualche partita nella anglo-welsh cup e in challenge cup (6 in tutto) mentre in P'ship solo una partita

anche l'anno scorso non aveva giocato tanto (solo 6 partite in P'ship)

era stato determinanete nell'anno della promozione ma poi a Bristol, e in UK in genere, mi pare abbiano l'idea che per essere un ala di alto livello devi avere una struttura fisica più solida che a lui (1.80 x 82 kg) forse un po' manca

il boss del Bristol ha dichiarato che gli dispiace molto rilasciare questi giocatori (6 in tutto) che meritano di giocare con regolarità, cosa che a Bristol non sarebbe avvenuta

Beh, meglio così..va bene anche una squadra di livello medio-basso ma in cui possa giocare con continuità

Tuilagi è davvero molto forte ma cosa dire del placcaggio che ha subito che gli ha impedito di fare meta, da parte di Hernandez (devastante).

GLoucester e` copertissimo sulle ali e i tre quarti in generale. Anche se Simpson Daniels si rimpe sempre. Hanno anche preso un Pryce dalla league: 1.98 per 110 kg e gioca all'ala...

il rugby irlandese esce con le ossa rotte con le performance di Leinster e Muster insufficienti. Non in linea con i risultati della nazionale verde, come altrettanto non in linea, stavolta all'opposto, quelli delle squadre inglesi sia in Heineken che in challenge. Mentre la nazionale continua a stentare i club arrivano alle semifinali.
Stesso discorso delle irlandesi per le equipe francesi.

Se la logica funziona, meglio iniziare a scommettere sull'Italia vincitrice dei mondiali...

Premier Rugby has vowed to "work strenuously" in an attempt to save next season's Heineken Cup from meltdown.

England's Guinness Premiership clubs have voted unanimously not to participate in the showpiece tournament if their French counterparts carry out a boycott threat.

The Ligue Nationale de Rugby, which represents the top 14 French sides, is likely to decide by Thursday whether or not to walk away.

Premier Rugby issued the following statement on behalf of its shareholders after a meeting at Heathrow on Monday.

"Premier Rugby has made, and stands by, its proposals to the Rugby Football Union which would provide significantly increased player release time for England and establish a platform for future international success which is vital for the whole game.

"As part of these proposals, Premier Rugby is seeking that their clubs have equal shares and votes with the RFU in a new five-year commitment to European competitions, to which the clubs have contributed so much success.

"Without this, the English clubs would otherwise be the only independent clubs not to have shares.

"Premier Rugby has been negotiating for the last 16 months with its other European partners to establish a new agreement once the current one comes to an end after this season.

"It is a point of frustration that an agreement in principle reached in October 2006 with our European partners has so far been rejected by the RFU.

"The clubs remain committed to European competition involving all the current participants.

"However, a European Cup without the leading French clubs is not a genuine European competition, and Premier Rugby's clubs have agreed unanimously not to participate in any such competition without the French next season.

"However, on behalf of its clubs, Premier Rugby will continue to work strenuously over the next few weeks with all existing partners to find a solution leading to a genuine European competition."

Under an agreement between Premier Rugby and the RFU, Twickenham top brass say England's top clubs are contracted to play in both major European competitions - Heineken Cup and European Challenge Cup - for the next two seasons.

Any boycott in support of the French is now likely to be met with legal action from the RFU, which could push the Premiership clubs further towards breaking away and organising their own competitions in future seasons.

Concern at the RFU's refusal to hand over share and voting rights - plus anxiety over fixture congestion next season, which starts with the Rugby World Cup - are behind the militant French stance.

Between them, English and French clubs have won nine of the 11 Heineken Cup finals, with Toulouse (three times), Leicester (twice), Wasps, Northampton, Bath and Brive sharing those titles.

Only Ulster (1999) and Munster (2006) have managed to disrupt the Anglo-French monopoly, underlining how the Heineken Cup next term would not be a viable proposition without them.

European Rugby Cup Limited would be left with only teams from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Italy, therefore making the tournament an infinitely less viable proposition for broadcasters and supporters.

Neither the RFU nor ERC has so far responded to Premier Rugby's statement, although ERC has a scheduled meeting on Wednesday.

Ed erano anche famosi x le risse che scatenavano nei locali notturni e le botte che davano.. (Se non mi ricordo male)

già a parma si trascinava cinque o sei giocatori aggrappati a lui in meta...
