 En Irlanda..la IDEA di avere sqaudre Italiani e visto come un OTTIMO idea..pero TUTTO dipende del formula.
 
 Non si deve essere Einstein per studiare il livello di Competivitia dei primi canditati italiani..per vere che c\'e un po di perplessita. Se Calvisano non ha vinto nemeno UNA PARTITA nel Heineken Cup da 2003...credo che sia legitimo di chiedere \" che c4$$o fanno riclamando un posto da solo nel CL per loro??\"

 Poi i Gallese son 100% conta la idea dio accettare sqaudre che non sono PROVINCIE. Dovete ricordare la agonia E RUTTURA con il passato che galles ha dovutpo fare per mettere en ordine il suo rugby..( Chiedendo a Rivalli come Swansea e Neath di fusionare!!!..chiedete a Bono di sposarsi con la Reina Inglesa...forse piu facile!)
 allora credte che i galesse stanno per accettare di condividere i suoi ingrssie e calendario con 3 o 4 4 squadre privati!?

 Italian sides could play in Celtic League next season

 THE Celtic League is to hold the door open for Italian sides to join next year, but only until this autumn.
 David Jordan, the tournament director, stated yesterday that he is seeking some stability in the league structure after the farce earlier this year when the Welsh Rugby Union was thrown out of the competition after it brokered its own lucrative deal to play in the English cup.
 
 Though a resolution was found relatively quickly, it spelled disaster for Jordan\'s attempts to find a title sponsor and attract the big broadcasters for a fourth successive year.
 As a result his priority is to broker a solid long-term agreement, for a competition over the next three or four years, between the three unions.
 He said he hoped that this could be sorted out within the next month or so.
 Jordan said: \"The Italians are very keen to be involved, but it\'s about making sure it\'s right for the three Celtic nations.
 \"There are commercial opportunities in introducing a new country, but you also have to weigh how a move to 14 home  move to 14 home or, rather than 20 home and away, affects other markets, and whether existing broadcasters feel it is an improvement or not.
 \"We also have to assess whether the Italian teams would get better if involved and whether they would enhance the competition. We are looking into these aspects now and I would hope that within the next month or so  we can sort that out, because the key issue for us is stability for this year, next year and the year beyond.\"

 Now there is the possibility that the Celtic League will get a Latin flavour since Italy have applied to enter four teams starting next year. League officials from the three current member countries are ,considering this request but, hopefully, only as a show of good manners since accepting the Italians would be madness. .
 Above all else the Celtic League needs stability and continuity. Only this summer there was a very real chance it could have disappeared altogether and if the Celtic League were a child it would request adoption, such is the lack of love shown it by the parent unions.
 To extend the Celtic League on the basis that Italy\'s 60m population will have commercial partners lining up is pure fallacy since the club game over there attracts very few spectators or media coverage. Rather it will only dilute further a Celtic competition already struggling to establish its credibility and its integrity while adding hugely to the cost of participation. Any
 move to increase the league\'s international flavour must necessarily impinge upon the three European competitions already in place.
 The Celtic League has the potential to match and even surpass England\'s equivalent but not until the three national unions give their unloved offspring the time, space and stability all infants need.
 
 
 
 Allora...o SR FIR sta dicendo tante balle ai squadre italiani...o non sa che cosa sta succendo..o la Serie A en 25 settmbre iniziara senza sapere il vero obiettivo ( 1 o 5 promozioni!?) ecc ecc.
 
 Il TOP10 non sa , nemeno con 50% di certezza i loro obiettivi
 Ricordate ..che i Posti per il Challnç¡nge Cup devono essere decisi fra noviembte..allora Italia nel Cl o Non..dobbiamo dare i postoi del challenge a Romenia o Spagna o altra a Scozia ec ecc...

Una persona piuttosto addentrata nelle cose del rugby italiano mi ha detto che tra i dirigenti dei nostri club aleggia la quasi certezza che le squadre italiane verranno ammesse in CL. Non gli ho chiesto e non mi ha spiegato da cosa derivasse questa convinzione, ma mi è parso che considerasse la cosa ormai del tutto scontata.
